    General description (or Mission Statement): North Alabama Christian School (N.A.C.S.) has been established as an effort to aid faithful members of the churches of Christ in North Alabama who want to educate and train their children through home education. We also include the Lord in our education.

    Requirements:

    • Parent(s) must be faithful member(s) of the church of Christ
    • Reference form
    • Student and parent applications
    • Annual enrollment fee
    • Inclusion of Bible in curriculum
    • Minimum of 140 days of instruction
    • Annual submission of attendance records
    • Minimum of three faculty meeting/jam sessions annually
    • Minimum of one field trip annually for each student

    Fees: annual enrollment fee of $25.00 per family

    Services:

    • Monthly faculty meetings/jam sessions covering helpful topics
    • Monthly newsletter with calendar schedule
    • Monthly field trips
    • Science fair
    • Geography fair
    • Optional standardized achievement testing (additional fee)
    • High school transcripts based on faculty records
    • High school graduation exercises with diploma (graduation fee)
